Angular grain (steel grit) is pro\u00adduced by breaking a material with a similar che\u00admical ana\u00adlysis as that of the sphe\u00adrical material (steel shot). Com\u00adpared to round abrasive, angular material has a higher abra\u00adsi\u00adveness due to the broken sharp edges.
